We have two working B&B cats (two outside territorial cats who have the job of keeping creek side critters away from the house). These cats take their job seriously but are friendly to guests and usually never turn down being petted however these are outside cats. If you enjoy cats please resist their antics and do not invite them in to your room and please do not feed them. Our cats are very well fed (a balanced nutritional cat diet) plus they get regular vet checks. These cats know they are not house cats and they understand gentle shooing. They will keep their distance once shooed away.

Now, about your pets? Sorry, but we do not accept pets as guests. Why? Because we at Town Creek do enjoy pets, we have tried more than once in the past to accommodate guests who wished to bring their family pets on vacation. Unfortunately the results were embarrassingly expensive for the guests after the pets left "presents" for the cleaning staff. Not a win-win situation.

Additionally, in Fredericksburg Texas it is illegal to tether a pet out of doors (caged facilities or fenced yards must be provided) or to house pets overnight in a car unattended (yes we have had customers who have intended to do both of these things to their pets).

Therefore a proper decision was made, Town Creek Bed and Breakfast is no longer willing to accept pets. We will gladly help you locate another Fredericksburg Texas accommodation that accepts pets or a pet resort while you stay with us at Town Creek Bed and Breakfast.
