About the owner...

In May, 2003, Tim purchased Town Creek Bed and Breakfast after relocating to Fredericksburg, Texas from San Francisco. Tim welcomed his first guest in May. By the next January he expanded Town Creek Bed and

Timothy GikasBreakfast to include the house next door and named the new cottage Sydney’s Cottage, for his granddaughter.

Today Town Creek Bed and Breakfast has been down sized in capacity from fourteen guests to ten guests per day.  Breakfast at Town Creek B&B is fresh cooked each morning and with the smaller number of guests eating together around a large table they get to know one another and perhaps make a few new friends.

Tim was trained as a computer scientist; and, is a PMI Certified Project Manager and Six Sigma Blackbelt Quality Professional. Since coming to Fredericksburg in 2003, he was also employed by a local manufacturing company as the Manager of Quality and finally as President/General Manager.  Tim left that company in April 2011 to pursue career number eight as a web application devloper and online business entrepreneur.

Today, besides operating Town Creek Bed and Breakfast Tim is a Business Process & Quality Consultant.  He is also and a partner in two online companies.  The first is a coffee company, the Mesquite Roasted Coffee Company(click link to see video) which has been featured on Bob Phillips' Texas Country Reporter Television Show two times.  This high quality coffee is served during breakfast at Town Creek B&B.

The second company is an all natural botanicals company creating and selling natural perfume and aromatherapy scents.  This company is called Mojo Gusto Botanicals (click to see web site).

"Little Kitty" (her real name) is the outside addition to the Bed and Breakfast and has been assigned the job of keeping the 1 ac lot of creek dwelling animals actually down at the creek; and squirrels out of the glassed in porch both which she does very well.  The glass porch is her home where Little Kitty has a nice warm comfy bed and perpetual food (so no need to feed her no matter what she may tell you) and great health benefits.

Little Kitty is very concious of people activity and she generally greets new guests if they appear lost with a quiet "meow".  Then monitors their activities from a distance.

She will accept an occasional head scratch or tail stroke from guests but being an outdoor kitty since birth, Little Kitty really does not enjoy being held or confined and should not be invited into the rooms.
